About this tool

Enter a domain and record type to check DNS propagation across 33 global resolvers. Results appear in a country list on the left and on an interactive world map on the right — green markers mean propagated, red/orange mean not yet updated.

Optionally set an expected value to highlight resolvers returning a different answer.

Frequently asked questions

How do I read the propagation map?

Green dots on the world map mean that DNS server returned your record. Orange or red dots mean the record was not found or an error occurred. Hover any dot or list row to see details.

How long does DNS propagation take?

Typically between a few minutes and 48 hours depending on the TTL of the previous record. Resolvers cache answers until the TTL expires.

What is an expected value?

If you recently changed a record, enter the new IP or hostname in the expected value field. Resolvers that return a different answer are marked as a mismatch on the map.
